Today, we’ve got another fresh single from the new Impossebulls album Everything Has Changed; Nothing Is Different. As usual, “Erykah & Jean” b/w “Verbal Origami” is packed with single exclusives… including the B-Side, itself!
First off, let’s not get it twisted, “Erykah & Jean” is not a diss song. It’s a re-prioritization of love song. As music fans, far too often we seem to place a higher weight on our “love” for a particular artist and their music than we do the love for family and loved ones in our lives. Consider it a theme song for your own re-prioritization. There’s more to this song’s story than stated here. Be sure to check out the new album’s PDF for more about it.
Now, back to those single exclusives that I mentioned above… what would a maxBloc single be without some dope remixes and other goodies? This time around we’ve got remixes by Headsnack (aka Phon-X of Regenerated Headpiece) and Tha Silent Partner! We’ve got the non-album cut “Verbal Origami” which features Cheese N Pot-C on the mic along with the Bulls! We’ve got a special extended version of the FUNKY album cut “The GetDown”! Of course we’ve also got instrumentals aplenty! So, heads should definitely not sleep.
