Just when you thought Headsnack might ease up after 2023’s Too Small To Cancel, he circles back to drop Cancel The Remix!, an 11-track blast of renewed boombap brilliance and razor-edged commentary, retooled for maximum impact.

This is Headsnack’s 7th release at blocSonic, and it’s no “deluxe edition” rehash. Cancel The Remix! dives into remixes of Too Small To Cancel and throws in reimagined classics from his Regenerated Headpiece days. These aren’t just touched-up versions — they’ve been completely overhauled with new mixes, new masters, and in some cases, totally different arrangements. It’s the audio equivalent of a director’s cut, but the director’s been bingeing hip-hop, caffeine, and dystopian documentaries.

As always, Headsnack isn’t pulling punches. If you thought his satire of social media, consumerism, and our collective downward spiral into absurdity was already biting, wait until you hear it repackaged, repurposed, and reborn in remix form.

Headsnack’s unique brand of multimedia mayhem has always sat comfortably in the space between biting cultural critique and pure hip-hop love letter. Whether solo or flanked by the relentless flows of Regenerated Headpiece and Eli and the Mannings, he keeps bringing that punk rock energy to classic hip-hop frameworks.
