Tha Silent Partner “Back 2 Act One (MARTINIS)”

If you don’t know, Tha Silent Partner goes way back with us here at blocSonic. He first arrived via the netBloc series, where we featured “No Mas” from his 2007 independent / Me Life & Music release “Platters Act. 1 (Lounge Music And Exotica)”. We then re-released that album along with Acts 2 and 3 as “Tha Complete Platters Sessions XE” in 2010. Little did we know back then that “complete” would turn out to be a misnomer. I believe that TSP truly intended on putting the Platters series to bed. However, whatever the case may be, every so often he returns to the Platters series… almost as if it were homebase where he goes to recharge.

So today what you have is another gem that returns us listeners all the way back to that Platters Act One vibe. A little taste to enjoy. Does this mean there will be another addition to the Platters series? We’re not sure. However, if you’re just getting to know TSP’s Platters sound, I encourage you to explore his Platters collection.

Thanks for this funky addition to that Act One vibe, TSP! Dope.

Of course, thanks once again to you for downloading & listening. We always strive to deliver the music you’ll love. Please spread the word about blocSonic, if you enjoy what we do. Remember… everything we release is cool to share! Always keep the music moving… share it… blog it… podcast it! If you’re in radio… support independent music and broadcast it!
