If you’ve been keeping up with blocSonic over the past year or so, you might have seen the name Timezone LaFontaine pop up as a guest and/or remixer. You might have even wondered if he’s going to drop his own releases. Well, let me set your mind at ease and present to you Graveyard Shift / Papa Made Out Like a Bandit, the first single from his forthcoming album Soul Night (set to drop April 18th).

TZLF’s unique hip-hop sound is at once modern and a throwback. If you remember the time when rappers were known as EMCEEs and hip-hop was a creative and varied genre, you’re going to dig this. If all you know is what’s now known as “hip-hop” or “trap”, then it’s time to broaden your horizons.
