Jovian Year is a new band that blends electronica, modern elements, raw instrumentation, and male/female vocals to create a unique experience for the listener. The band features the songwriting and keyboard/pianos of Grant Shepard. Described as the “poor man’s Charles Ives”, Shepard strums the piano like a guitar and amuses and confuses until the listener finds themselves playing the song again wondering: What did I just listen to?
