Kicking things off is New World, the new album by BLKJK. A prescient album that seems like it was a product of the uncertain times we all find ourselves in, but it’s been done and ready to go for months. From technology, social media and it’s impact on the children of the world, he takes you on a journey fused with electronica, hiphop, psych guitar, dirty blues, soundscape and post apocalyptic visions of a world searching for reason and calling upon God and humanity for answers of Peace/Love and enlightenment.
This is the 2nd Album release in 5 years for BLKJK formerly known as BlakJak.
From the first album armed with scattershot 808’s, laser canon synths, subterranean bass bombs and word grenades BlakJak set out to leave a world that forsaken its people.
BLKJK is the rebirth of BlakJak’s journey and this new album tells a story about the life and observations of the new world that he experienced over the last 5 years.
It’s an incredible album that smashes genres and fuses them back together in a way that only BLKJK can. Enjoy the ride!
