CM & Tha Silent Partner's long-awaited bloc Sonics 2 arrives!
Back in 2013, CM aka Creative collaborated with Tha Silent Partner on “Good Times”, from TSP’s “Platters, Act 5: The Silent Anniversary (10 Years Of Tha Silent Partner)”. That sparked something. There was something special about CM rapping over TSP beats & production! That lead to a formal collaboration. In 2014 CM & Tha Silent Partner delivered their debut EP, “bloc Sonics”. It was called an Instant Classic by fans who heard it (including Macedonia of Radio BSOTS). That it WAS!
Well, today, after a seven year wait, we’re excited to present to you “bloc Sonics 2”! Although you’ll listen for yourself, we can attest to the fact that there is no sophomore slump with this EP. Not… at… all. This will likely be labelled Instant Classic as well. However, we’ll leave that up to listeners to decide.
Download it, enjoy it and then buy the CD. That’s right, we’ve also made it available in a physical format for those of you who like to show your support. On CD you’ll find the Special Edition, which includes the full EP along with the TSPMENTALS. In addition to that, for the first time you can also buy a “bloc Sonics (Special Edition)” on CD! It contains the complete EP along with “bloc Sonics: Tha TSPMENTALs”!
CM & TSP… hey gents… listen… you’ve outdone yourselves! We were only hoping for something about as good as the last one, but… seriously… no sophomore slump here! SLAMMIN’! Infinite thanks!
