Since the late ’00s, CM aka Creative has carved out a space at blocSonic where lyrical sharpness and classic boom-bap live in harmony. With “Anime Chris,” he flips the script—this time channeling his lifelong love of anime into five hard-hitting tracks that nod to both his influences and his roots.

CM’s not just paying tribute here. He’s translating that larger-than-life anime energy into bars that cut, bounce, and uplift. Whether he’s trading verses with Headsnack on “Lyrical Assassins”, or going full posse mode on “Stand Proud (UKnoWutImSayin’)” alongside Cheese N Pot-C and C-Doc, CM keeps it authentic. The title track “Anime Chris” sets the tone: raw, introspective, and laced with references that’ll hit home for heads who grew up with Golgo 13 on the tube and mics in their hands.
