Maxwell Powers “Fridays, Volume 1”

Indie-pop creator Maxwell Powers has steadily been building his following by regularly releasing new music on Fridays. So, what better name than “Fridays” for an album featuring those independently released songs? For the first time, many of those Friday SoundCloud/YouTube releases have been carefully compiled along with previously unreleased remixes and presented to you for your enjoyment.

What comes across while listening to this selection is that Maxwell Powers is a pop music powerhouse. Either completely on his own or with fantastic collaborators, he manages to create music that is at once sincere, well-written and catchy as hell. I hope you enjoy this album as much as I do.
