Here’s the thing about Tha Silent Partner… the man doesn’t just make music. He builds monuments, then quietly moves on to the next one.

Today marks the arrival of “Platters, Tha Final Act (Tha Lost Plates Of Egadz)” — the ninth installment in TSP’s beloved Platters series, and possibly the last? Let that settle for a moment. Nine acts. A run that’s become a cornerstone of the blocSonic catalog. And for the finale? TSP reaches back to beats composed between November 2010 and February 2011 — tracks he thought were lost after a PC crash. Fortunately, exported stems survived, and what you’re hearing today is the careful final mixdown of that rescued material.

This one’s personal. The “Egadz” in the title refers to Evan, a producer and graphic designer behind Cursed Out Productions. TSP met Evan through mutual connections in the netlabel world, and the creative respect ran deep. Evan handled artwork for Waasawki Music Group. TSP, inspired by Evan’s debut album, built these ten tracks as a gift between friends. When he learned Evan’s album was a one-time bucket list project, TSP was content to let the music live privately. But now, before the curtains close on the Platters series, he’s sharing it with all of us.

Ten tracks. Composed in Reason Studio’s Record program. Recovered from the wreckage of a hard drive crash and pieced back together with intention. That’s not just production — that’s dedication.
