CLOUDWARMER “I Know the World Reasonably Well and Am Right About Everything”
CLOUDWARMER drops “I Know the World Reasonably Well and Am Right About Everything”, a sprawling 20-track follow-up to 2024’s "Nostalgia For a Future That Never Happened." Eddie Palmer’s NYC-based trip-hop/lo-fi/experimental project returns deeper, darker, and somehow funnier than before.
Twenty tracks. No filler. Track titles that read like overheard therapy sessions and corporate dystopia headlines: "Being Hunted At Work For Sport," "You Have My Consent To Compassionately Euthanize Me," "The Future You Planned For Is No Longer An Option." Palmer maps midwestern gothic drift, ubiquitous surveillance, and cosmic melancholy across the runtime… it’s the sound of a guy who’s read the room and decided to score it.
Bonus: the liner-notes include “An Unreasonable Man,” a short story by Palmer himself. Context for the chaos.
This is Palmer’s second CLOUDWARMER drop at blocSonic, deepening a relationship that goes back to 2014’s Fields Ohio appearance on netBloc Vol. 46. Across Vietnam II, Fields Ohio, Electric Mirrors, and CLOUDWARMER, dude doesn’t stop. We’re not complaining.
Grab it in FLAC, MP3, or OGG. Let it ruin your afternoon in the best possible way.
